As I think we can all see, Herobound has fallen into disrepair. This is a blameless crime, it was actions and events between all of us that caused it's slow decline.
Wade, I know you have now realized that forum-style rps are not your thing. I humbly ask you, however, that you please follow through on this, after all the work Laura, myself, and yourself have put into this. I ask that you develop a regular posting schedule, maybe something like putting aside part of your Saturday evening to hammer out a post? Doing this would definitely help reinvigorate the rp board as a whole.
Laura, I know you care the most for this setting, and that you have the most character work going on at any particular time. If the load becomes too much, we could always shuffle people around and temporarily cast one of your characters into the background, to advance the main plot. I, similarly, ask for a few posts a week. But I also ask for something else: I ask that, instead of writing the first thing that comes to your mind, you redraft and review your posts. Perhaps a schedule could be arranged where you post for one character a day, and then the next day you post for another, and then go review and rewrite the post for the first character? I think that this would improve your writing skills.
As for myself, I would like to hold myself to a regular posting schedule, perhaps using that timed writing web app I can't remember the name of to keep my writing time and post length down. I would also like to receive comments from both of you, Laura and Wade, as to how I could improve my writing.
And that brings me to my next point. I think we should each, instead of posting commands in the style of Homestuck, use our posts in another character's thread to offer comments on the actions of the characters, as well as to suggest further actions. Additionally, these posts should be used to offer writing tips and comments, to help improve all of our prose work.
Thank you.
